Transstroy carries on working on building of bridges and tunnels within its road and railway construction projects. The company can boast of vast experience in construction works under extreme natural and climatic conditions, under conditions of complicated terrain relief – among mountains and gorges, under conditions of densely populated city.
While constructing Kurortny avenue alternate route Transstroy built 11 tunnels. This was more than 10 km to drill in the mountains of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range. Within this project Transstroy used for the first time in Russia the method of constructing tunnels in soft ground - ADECO RS.
Among Transstroy’s bridge construction projects the most famous are following: construction of two new Andreyevsky railway and motor road bridges across Moskva river, relocation and assembly of formerly Krasnoluzhsky railway bridge leading to Kievsky railway station and its conversion into a footbridge, construction of 87 bridges as part of the project in construction of a Berkakit-Tommot-Yakutsk branch of the Amur-Yakutsk railway mainline and others.
